Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. We stayed in one of the rooms with the private hot spring and it was so relaxing! Also great to try the other ones too for a full experience.

So so so beautiful and the staff was amazing only stayed for a night before heading off to my next location but would definitely stay another night to explore Hakone. Tried new foods I normally wouldn’t eat as well which was a great experience as well 🙂‍↕️

Motomachi-Chukagai Subway Station is just a 1-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The hotel is stunning and luxurious. It kind of feels like being at The Plaza in NYC. Hotel staff the most courteous I’ve experienced. Well trained, impecable manners and attire. Valet personnel help you load and unload from your ride. I would just go back to Yokohama for the hotel! We got a sea view room with a perfect view. Highly recommend it!

They served the real kaiseki style meal which consists of variety of local products. The onsen is up to the standard. We booked the private onsen room which is nice but the public one will serve all your needs.

Clean and well preserved. Loved the architectural details.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. Facilities were very nice with traditional japanese feeling while western style bathroom was available in the room. Bigger private bathroom was a great experience. Staff was very nice, considerate and helpful :)

There is a lot to do immediately outside the hotel, plus there are several other places of interest within a short walk as well. There are two different train stations nearby for travel within the city. The room itself had nothing to complain about. The clothes washer/drier is very nice to have. It can also clean and dry a load of laundry without needing to be supervised, which is nice.
