The room was large and had full water views. The onsen facilities were amazing, particularly the outdoor onsen right next to the bay. The kaiseki dinner was amazing. So much food and all delicious. So happy we decided to stay here.

It's just about within walking distance of the Yokoyama trail area if you're up for a bit of hiking.

Located 500 metres from Kintetsu Iseshi Train Station, Hoshidekan Ryokan (a member of the Japanese Inn Group) is a wooden building that was built in the 1920's and provides Japanese-style rooms with free WiFi, an LCD TV and traditional futon bedding. It has shared bath and a courtyard garden. Very friendly staff and a good location. The facilities were very traditional but comfortable. Will book again if I’m in the area.
