Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Lovely location. In room onsen was so awesome to have. Views from the balcony were exceptional, mountains, the city and the sea. The food was absolutely gourmet level and was a highlight for us. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

Yunohira Kamiyanagiya is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Yunohira Onsen in Yufu, en bevindt zich op 16 km van Kinrinko Meer, 33 km van station Oita en 37 km van station Beppu. Such a wonderful experience!! It was my father's first time staying at ryokan and he absolutely loved it. The property was beautiful, staff incredibly sweet and friendly, and the meals delicious. The property has indoor and outdoor private onsens. Truly a relaxing experience being in an outdoor onsen, especially in the morning. There is a free coffee machine for espressos in the lobby available at certain hours. We booked with the breakfast and kaiseki dinner included. Everything was delicious and the staff are so on top of bringing out the next course. Lovely experience tucked away in a beautiful mountain setting. Highly recommend staying here!!

AMANE resort GAHAMA bevindt zich in Beppu, op 24 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Incredible! Wish I could’ve stayed more than 1 night. The public bath with the view of the ocean was breathtaking. The gardens and public areas around the resort are absolutely stunning, so many great little nooks. The staff is extremely attentive (one member was waiting for us with an umbrella as we were crossing the street, still a few minutes away from the resort!) and spoke English very well. We had the seaside villa and it was bigger than we thought - actually for 2 people it’s too big. The view from the second floor to the ocean is amazing as well. There are two private baths, a really spacious indoor bath and a semi open air outdoor bath. While the outdoor one was more picturesque, the indoor one was more comfortable for me. I liked the breakfast as well, both western and Japanese options.

Fantastic location just off the main street and facing quiet river side lane. The onsen were so lovely we went as often as we could! Very homely and welcoming!

Boasting and classic Japanese ambience, Yufuin Santoukan provides traditional accommodation just a 5-minute drive from JR Yufu Station. Location is perfect. The walking street is 5 minutes away with lots of good food. Dinner at the Ryokan was exceptional. Well-curated by the head chef. No repeat over 3 days.

Yufuin-Sanso Waremokou biedt ruime kamers in Japanse stijl met een prachtig uitzicht op de natuur en de stad. Stayed for two nights. Our room had two outdoor onsens which was well maintained and clean. Room is a little dated but still clean. As we had a half board package, daily breakfast and dinner were included. Food was superb with a hearty Japanese breakfast and dinner was shabu shabu on the first night and bbq on the second. Service was top notched. We had a nice Nepalese lady looking after us. We had a private room for all our meals and were very well looked after. Lastly, the staff took our photo and printed it out for us for keepsake upon check out. Nice gesture. I had an extra photo taken with the owner's little brown poodle Hazel. :)

Yawaragi-no-Sato Yadoya ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de pittoreske straat Yu-no-Tsubo Kaido en heeft een universele stijl, 6 warmwaterbronnen en een Japans restaurant. So convenient to all the attractions and restaurants. The onsen is beautiful.
