We received a very warm welcome and got a detailed explanation of the room right away. Breakfast was excellent – especially the fact that you can get an egg cooked exactly the way you like every day. The location is decent for Defqon, and Zwolle train station is super easy to reach. The hotel is located right by the shopping street, which is perfect for grabbing a snack or doing some shopping. We also really enjoyed the beautiful koi pond in the garden, which we admired every day because we love fish. Highly recommended for Defqon visitors! Definitely use the taxi driver recommended by the host – that was a real insider tip!

There was a special app for keyless entry which was new to me, but always worked fine. We were greeted with a nice card, an Easter chocolate and a bottle of wine. I loved the stainless still kitchen counter and backsplash. The kitchen was very well equipped. Very very well designed space, a lot of smart storage. The remote control fire place was also very nice. One of the best features was looking out of the windows and watching the birds and squirrels. It was a bit too cold during our stay to really eat outside or sit for long periods in the chairs, but everything was nice.
