We really enjoyed our stay here, we felt super welcomed, specially by Thapa, who was very attentive and nice. All the staff were super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are exactly as they appear in the pictures, clean, nice and comfortable. The breakfast was great and varied, and the internet worked very well for meetings and remote working. Thank you for everything!

We are a couple from Turkey and stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel during our trip to Nepal, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, smiling and willing to help with anything we needed, from airport pickup to recommending nice restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We stayed in a higher floor room, and the view over the city and the mountains in the distance was beautiful. The location is ideal, right in Thamel but slightly off the main road, so it is peaceful and quiet at night. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Kathmandu was a perfect destination, and Apsara Boutique Hotel made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend it to our friends visiting Nepal.

Shambaling Hotel sídlí v půvabném zrekonstruovaném domě ze 70. let 20. století, který je zasazen do nádherně upravených pozemků. Very welcoming and peaceful Tibetan Buddhist hotel. Lovely rooms, prayer flags flying, sound bowls in the room, gated entrance, prayer wheels, great indoor/outdoor cafe/restaurant, beautiful potted plants, yoga and spa including sound healing. Handy to both Bouddha Stupa and Phulbari Monastery. I easily walked to both (Stupa is closer).

A great place to rest up during your stay in this busy and chaotic city. We had a lovely stay and we can't recommend them enough.
