Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

How can you describe a perfect place like *Quinta Das Levadas Dos Mouros Country House*?... - A real piece of paradise! This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in, with the most charming landlady - Dear Raquel. A spectacular mansion in its beauty, elegant, warm and pampering, every item in it is tastefully chosen. The large space, the comfortable beds, the light and the harmony... As well as the small details that make all the difference (In each bedroom there is a deck of cards with Inspirational Phrases for example). The estate has a pool to enjoy on hot days and hiking trails around it that lead to wonderful nature. We accepted Raquel's offer and ordered dinner as well. The lovely Natalia prepared a meal for us that we enjoyed every bite of. Paired with good wine from the region - we had a perfect evening. In the morning, the hearty Ceilia prepared a particularly pampering breakfast for us, which started another perfect day for us. We plan to come back here for sure, this time for 3-4 nights. In our opinion, the place is worth a special trip to the area and certainly a great trip to the slate villages. Casas dos Carregais si trova a Carregais, a 38 km da Cargaleiro Museum e 38 km da St. Michael's Church. Mette a disposizione la vista sulla montagna e il WiFi gratuito. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casas dos Carregais! Olga and Rui, and their Son Riccardo, welcomed us like we were long lost friends. The cottage is very lovely and has everything you could need. Fresh bread was brought to us daily, fresh fruit, cheese and meat for our breakfast. The views from the cottage are stunning and early one morning, I glanced out of the window and there were clouds around the rooftops. It was magical! Olga and Rui invited us to join them for evening coffee at the community hall with the locals. We enjoyed this so much. Everyone was so welcoming and they are all very friendly people. We will miss our evening chats. We highly recommend Casas dos Carregais. We stayed there for 4 nights and were sad to leave. Book your stay there and you won’t be disappointed! We’ll definitely stay in touch with Olga and Rui. Friends for life.

We have had a wonderful three week holiday in Portugal, staying in a variety of lovely places from the southern coast to the northern border. But of all those lovely places, Sete Quintas truly won our hearts. By rebuilding several abandoned stone buildings that had housed flour mills and an olive mill on property bordering a small river, adding gardens, olive and fruit trees, and a swimming pool, the owner, Carlos, has created a gem of peaceful tranquillity and natural beauty. We stayed in a small stone cottage - living room, bedroom, bathroom, very comfortable and all beautifully furnished and decorated - right beside the river, relaxing to the sound of the water. Delicious breakfasts were served in the lovely dining room in the main building just across the stone courtyard, where we also enjoyed delicious dinners, including excellent wine from a friend’s vineyard in the Douro Valley and olive oil made from Sete Quintas’s own olives. The owners made us feel so welcome and right at home; Carlos was very helpful with information about the area. This is a great location for exploring Coimbra and the ancient ruins at Conimbriga.

Pedras Lavradas si trova a Teixeira de Baixo, a 42 km da Serra da Estrela e 29 km da Monastero delle Carmelitane Scalze. Propone alloggi climatizzati con WiFi gratuito, un ristorante e un bar. Premesso che a me non piaciono i grandi hotel e preferisco sempre le piccole strutture, devo dire che a Pedras Lavradas mi sono sentito come a casa. Personale gentile e disponibile, la colazione eccezionale con ottimi prodotti.

Posizionato a Figueiró dos Vinhos, a 46 km da Parco Divertimenti Portugal dos Pequenitos e 46 km da Santa Clara a Velha Monastery, Hotel Rota Malhoa mette a disposizione una terrazza e il WiFi... Friendly service, very clean, responsive, great breakfast. I will stay again when I return to the area.
