Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. We were absolutely obsessed with this little hotel. I wish I could have stayed there forever.

Excellent breakfast, healthy and also in Swedish style. The room was nice, we traveled with 2 friends, the beds were separate but together, but there were two blankets, so great. The hotel is right next to the station, it's close to everything on foot, so great. Right next to the hotel there are groceries that are open even on Sundays.
