The Outrigger Reef Resort was amazing. The hotel front desk staff are so friendly, efficient and caring of the guests. The valets are very prompt, kind and take exceptional care of your vehicle. I appreciated the professional, yet very friendly conversations the valet staff and manager provided throughout my week stay. The front desk staff were so helpful in providing me answers to all my questions on events, travel and a few needs that came up for my room stay. By my second day at the hotel, I felt very comfortable with the staff and my way to navigate around Waikiki. The onsite dine in restaurant has wonderful food and drinks. The daily breakfast is outstanding, felt like a high level chef prepared the meals and their prices are affordable. The bar/restaurant outside in the open pool area was amazing. Food and drinks so good and the entertainment each night was wonderful and so authentic to the Hawaiian atmosphere. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Hotel cleaning staff were so kind and kept our towels fresh each day and our room was always so tidy when we returned from our site seeing each day. This was my first time at the Outrigger and I plan on returning in 2024 for another wonderful trip.

The hotel also features an on-site activity desk as well as a fitness centre and The Library or a quiet corner to relax or get a bit of work done. MAC/HP computers available for guest use. Printer available for printing airline boarding passes. Location is great, walkable to the beach and center of waikiki. Also close to a mall with many shops and restaurants. My room was big and with a nice view of the marina/pool. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I tried the breakfast buffet which was delicious with healthy options.

Situated in Kailua-Kona and only 8.9 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Hale Hualalai features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is around 28 km from Kealakekua Bay, 33 km from Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and 42 km from Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. This 3-star bed and breakfast offers private entrance. Finding Hale Hualalai for our last two days on the big island was a stroke of luck. The facility is tucked away off a mountain road surrounded by coffee plantations and endowed with a panoramic view. It was a distinct pleasure to have conversations with Ricky, who is an excellent host and cook. We particularly enjoyed eating his delicious breakfasts while gazing out at the beautiful view and watching the hilarious antics of the geckos. Ricky is also a great source of information about the island and Hawaii in general. The location is great for coffee tasting. (Be careful about getting over caffeinated and driving on the winding mountain roads!). We initially chose to stay at Hale Hualalai because of proximity to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away by car.

Hale-Hoola B & B is located in Captain Cook. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a seating area. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a bath and a hairdryer. You can enjoy sea view from the room. We picked this hotel because another lady had left a review saying how her stay was so amazing it ruined other holidays for her and I completely agree and am so glad we went! The stargazing and the sound bath activities were SO wonderful and delivered by the best people!! Thank you!
