I was staying here in between of work trips and really glad I dropped here for a few days. The place is charming, filled to the rim with this traditional Japanese feeling and mood. The rural area also very quiet and awesome for relaxing. I've been in different onsens, and comparing at least to the last two I tried the one in Komoro was the hottest. And there must be a special place for food reviews. It's just awesome! The full course of traditional Japanese food, everything tasty, but if you get a chance to try an ayu (sweet fish, i'll attach the photo) - man, I never ate anything more delicious! By the way don't be afraid if your japanese not very good - the stuff is super friendly and have google translators😅

We were thrilled with the location! I thought I had booked on the outskirts of town, but it was really ideal to be at the top of a fantastic shopping street. We loved walking around! The ryokan was quaint and welcoming, and the breakfast was hearty to fuel up for a day of hiking.

I have stayed for almost a week in a winter. room was pretty well heated and showers were hot. It is a nice quiet place surrounded by nature and a really impressive volcano park nearby. You should have a car to come here or be really adventurous for a far walk from a train station (as i did and enjoyed it) Owner was kind enough to give me a ride. thank you.
