Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Beautiful Onsen , amazing Japanese breakfast ( which they make small changes to each day of you stay longer ). Great hosts , loads of interesting objects and art. They also have some local products for sale. Its super quiet space , very relaxing. One of my favourite spots ive stayed in japan . The rooms are spacious were were a family of 3 adults sharing a room and we all had plenty of room. Trditional futon sleeping, futons were a little thin for our comfort but the doona cover was lovely and warm. The hosts are very friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. There is a public onsen and a private onsen. We booked the private bath and it was wonderful. We had a Japanese breakfast one morning and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The traditional breakfasts and dinners were amazing. Also they had a several Onsen options from private to public. There is not a shared bathroom in the western sense, but a simple but authentic private onsen in house. There were plenty of facilities with a wine bar, coffee shop, restaurants, and a games room for the kids. The onsens (hot springs were fantastic, both inside and outside.
