This a favourite of ours. The staff are exceptional and the view is the most amazing we have seen in Japan. If you are looking for a great Ryokan experience in Japan then you can’t go past this little gem.

I stayed at a traditional Japanese room and I fell in love with it. Super beautiful and cozy, and really, really loved it! Also, the manager was a super sweet man who made sure I was feeling comfortable. Every morning you get fresh towels, yukata and toiletries together with a coffee sachet from their cafe (Origami Cafe & Whiskey bar) When I booked I feared the location would be too far from downtown but not at all, Nagasaki is super easy to walk around and everything is close by either by foot or by well-connected public transport. He leaves coffee (from I loved my stay here and I would absolutely return here.

Our room had the most amazing view over the Nagasaki city and it became even more magical after night falls. We booked the standard Japanese styled rooms so had the futon beds but they were surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom was big and clean. Love our stay here.

The room was great - big space for futons, a separate area for sitting and good access to our own bathroom toilet.. It was very quiet. It was a good walk from the railway station that helped get a feel for Nagasaki. From the ryokan it was easy walking to all the sights

With beautiful city views from its best rooms and a top floor onsen, this hotel has a magical setting to relax and enjoy hot spring life in Nagasaki. The buffet dinners and breakfasts are impressive, with quality choices in a well-run restaurant. We also appreciated a voucher for drinks. A great experience, easy to travel to and from the city centre using the free shuttle bus.
