We got a room with a great view of the street beside and the river, and it was really relaxing to hear the sound of the water right from our rooms. Service for dinner and breakfast were also awesome. Food was also great and very elaborate. Servers really paid attention to our needs and provided us with an individual room since we had a 2 year old toddler with us. We were really thankful for that.

It was if everyone knew exactly what our needs were at the exact time.

We were delighted with our visit. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. It was one of three onsens we visited, and I must say it was as good as the others, which were more expensive. They were also very good about meeting us at the station with their limo bus. Very enjoyable.

民宿上田屋 provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 41 km of Kongoin Temple and 45 km of Maizuru Brick Park. It was a really nice place. I arrived late because I had some sightseeing to do, but I enjoyed the tatami room, bath, and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, and the area is surrounded by woods and ocean. Fukui is a very special area that not many people see, so I recommend visiting it if you get the chance.

Offering a terrace and lake view, 湖上館パムコ is situated in Wakasa, 30 km from Obama Station and 31 km from Kehi Jingu Shrine. Some staff members speak english, which makes authentic Ryokan experience accessible to western visitors. Hospitality and cleanliness are top notch, and the breakfast and dinner experience was unforgettable. Renting their ebikes to go around the lakes was memorable.

With wife and family. The Japanese style dinner and breakfast was delicious and with the excellent server's gave it a wonderful experience. The inside onsen was good, but the outside onsen hot spring was perfect for this time of year with the cool air around you. Great View of the mountains from our 7th floor room. Recommended for those who want to have real Japanese style experience.
