Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The staff were very helpful and attentive. My husband wasn't feeling well and I had to call the front desk to help me. They assisted me and helped convince my husband to go to the hospital for a check-up. Thanks to Laura and Pierre.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Everything was excellent. The ryokan is well located very close to the public baths and has itself 2 private baths that you can use in private the afternoons. The personal went above and beyond to make our stay better, even with the language differences. They let us store our luggage before the check in time and took it to the train station the day of check out. They lent us some yukatas to stroll in the town and the owner proposed to take some pictures of us outside the ryokan which was a nice detail. The room we stayed, was a typical ryokan room with futon and everything, which complements the charm of the stay. The food was delicious and they even explained us how the items in the dinner were supposed to be enjoyed. Super authentic experience and totally recommended.

Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. Great monastery experience! The place was peaceful and comfortable, the staff was excellent, and the onsen was fantastic. The entire experience was perfect. They offered a meditation class and a special ritual, both of which were truly beautiful experiences. The food was memorable

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. The staff was very accommodating and the ryokan was absolutely beautiful. I also loved the onsen, very relaxing. The location was also perfect and beverly close to the train.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.
