It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. I had a 2 night stay in Konanso. The staff is very welcoming and polite, maybe it helps that i speak Japanese. However, they also speak English. Rooms are spacious, clean and with wonderful views. There is a person in charge of your stay that will bring you dinner each night and ask if you need anything. Dinner served at the bedroom is delicious, and the onsen is gorgeous. Would recommend 10/10. Breakfast is also excellent, with western and japanese food.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The staff was very attentive and accommodative. The Japanese breakfast very nice and diverse. Very good restaurant by the hotel to taste regional cuisine! The onsen experience my first was a nice discovery in and of itself with a full paronamic view of the Lake. Same excellent view from the big room. We were lucky to also have a view of Mt Fuji visible the following morning. It was a full immersive experience. We slept in kimono and on the tatami. A good night sleep!

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths.

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Great traditional Japanese style tatami room. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, and the food was amazing. Private outdoor bath was an amazing experience. 10/10 will return one day

At the ryokan, every unit comes with a tatami. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the ryokan also have free WiFi. At the ryokan, the units include bed linen and towels. The best stay we had in Japan, by far. The host is an amazing woman, and she makes you feel right at home. It’s an old building, which was no problem for us. The room itself is extremely spacious, and I never expected the futton beds to be some damn comfy. Had the best sleep ever here! WiFi works amazing, breakfast is delicious, and the location couldn’t be better. Amazing street, with good cafes and restaurants and close to the sights. Definitely will be coming back!

At the ryokan, units are fitted with a wardrobe. All units have a shared bathroom, slippers and bed linen.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Rooms were clean and spacious, toilet was clean. We opted for the special dinner and was not disappointed!

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. The room is big, the place was spotless, breakfast is so good!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Very good located, close to Hirano bus station. Excellent view of Mount Fuji. Big and clean room. The food is delicious, probably the best I ate in Japan. The staff is very nice.

Inn proprietress was so kind and everything was perfect👍
