Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area.

The panoramic lake views and a cosy fireplace await guests in the lobby. Guests can rewind in the spacious hot spring bath, or reserve a smaller private bath at an extra charge. The location up on the hill overlooking the lake provided a beautiful view from the rooms and onsen. The breakfast, snacks, and dinner provided were delicious and we didn’t have to leave the property unless we wanted to explore. The onsen bath was clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths.

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. Best location we stayed at in a 2 week holiday in Japan. The other hotels we used were all conventional ones and we wanted to stay in at least on Ryokan and chose this one. The location is perfect, really close to Zenkoji Temple which is the most historic area in Nagano, with lots of really nice shops to explore. The room was perfect and we really enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

At the ryokan, every unit comes with a tatami. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the ryokan also have free WiFi. At the ryokan, the units include bed linen and towels. This is an amazing place with wonderful owners who are always very warm, helpful and committed. The hotel has an incredibly atmospheric and very well organized atmosphere. Comfort and quality at the highest level. It was very sad to leave so soon. The comfort of sleep, bedding, pillows is so great that I have never slept so well. I would gladly come back again for a good night's sleep. I am happy that I found this place and Matsumoto is worth getting to know better, thank you for such beautiful moments, and I hope to see you soon

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. He let me have the room earlier and made me the breakfast earlier so I could take my morning bus on time. Great location, clean and quiet room, good meals, appreciate very much!

Close to Togakushi Shrine, 宿屋白金家 yadoya-shiroganeya 1日1組限定2名から8名様まで 全館貸切り 伝統的建造物の旅籠宿 Traditional culture experience is set in Nagano and has a hot spring bath and garden. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 20 km from Zenkoji Temple. The ryokan also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This ryokan and the hospitality is something special! It was beyond amazing, and the best experience we had during our 21-day trip in Japan. We felt right at home from the beginning, even though Maki told us she was worried we would not be comfortable seeing its a traditional Japanese house. On the contrary; everything is well thought of and very stylish. You get to experience a real Japanese inn in a relaxed manner. We didn’t have any experience with traditional ryokans, and Maki kindly thought us the ways of putting on a yukata, enjoying a kaiseki meal and using an onsen. She and her mom are beyond kind and caring, and provide you with everything you need (i.e. they send us on our hike with drinks and a bear-bell). The food is truly amazing (and there is a lot!!!) and Maki takes time to explain the origin of the products/dishes and a lot of the food is seasonal and resourced locally. The room was beautiful, with a spectacular view and nice comfy places to sit. The futon beds were very comfortable and on top of that everything was very tidy and clean. We are so thankful we got this opportunity and feel blessed we met them and cute Fukumaki and Kenta and will keep the memories we made here forever in our hearts. WE WILL BE BACK!
