This was our favorite place in Kyushu. It is small and the attention to every detail is exceptional. The decor from the wallpapers to the tiles, and from the design of the onsen to the gardens are impeccable. The meals were also excellent. The hospitality of the staff, in particular Kumi-San and Megumi-San, was also a highlight.

This was a bit more than we would normally spend but it was well worth it. So comfortable stylish and tranquil with your own outdoor hot tub. Japanese breakfast was beautiful and staffs dining recommendations all fantastic. Loved the koi in the canal right outside our door.

There is no way this is a 7.8 hotel (booking dot com score), I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is a 8.8 area place, maybe higher. Beautiful room, superb onsen, great staff, about the best Japanese breakfast on the planet (only Y2,000), good value

Situato a 7,6 km da Centro Studi Fluviali Oyodo e 11 km da Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo, Yurakuan Miyazaki mette a disposizione camere a Miyazaki. The hotel is located next to the Oyodo river which is great for running og walking along. We were welcomed by the friendly staff which made us very welcome. They had a number of written information sheets in English about the hotel and facilities which was great as our Japanese is limited and so was their English. The room was with tatami flooring and futon mattresses. The bathroom was a totally covered outdoor space which although in winter was great. It was chilly to start with but quickly warmed up when you either started the shower or began to fill the bath. The last being a wonderful wooden bath. There was free parking right by the hotel. Although the room was with no meal plan they provided toast and butter/jam for breakfast free of charge together with the complimentary coffee/tea. I would definitely stay at Yurakuan Miyazaki if I came back to town.

We opted for the half board and were thoroughly impressed by the authentic Japanese dinner and breakfast. The meals were a true culinary delight, and we savored every bite. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated their efforts. One of the highlights of our stay was the open-air private onsen. It was an amazing experience that added a touch of serenity and relaxation to our trip. We couldn't have asked for a better way to unwind.

Helpful host let us put the bikes inside as lots of rain was forecast. Room was nice & bigger than expected with an extra room with table.

The property is traditional, from room to restaurant. And we liked most is the public onsen bath, nice koi ponds and could get a good sleep after onsen. Plus the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were fabulous.
