Majutusasutuses Biwako Hanakaido on väljas ja siseruumides paiknevad kuumaveeallikate vannid, 3 söögikohta ning rõduga toad, kust avaneb vaade Biwako järvele. The rooms are beautiful, the view is amazing, the staff are absolutely lovely. The private hot springs are great. This place is very charming - even magical. Experiencing Biwako Hanakaido felt like experiencing proper Japanese traditions/customs. It felt like a privilege. It's a truly rare and amazing experience that isn't easy to come by. I highly recommend spending a night or a few here.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. We like the location of the hotel.

Aiaga ühe tärniga pärjatud Marumo Ryokan asub Takashimas, 46 km kaugusel Sanzen-ini templist. Külalised saavad kasutada avalikku sauna. Staff were exceptional and breakfast was authentic Japanese experience.

Boasting a hot spring bath, Dantokan Kikunoya is located a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station. Free pick-up from the station is available upon advance request. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Ryokan Beniayu asub Nagahamas, kõigest 26 km kaugusel Hikone lossist. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann, tasuta jalgrattad ja lift. Kolmetärnihotelli kõigist tubadest avaneb vaade järvele. Premium service. Even five stars hotels couldn’t provide this level of care and attention. 10/10

Sauna ja tasuta eraparklaga Hitoiki asub Hikone lossist 14 km ja Maibara jaamast 8,6 km kaugusel. Fantastic sauna and super comfy futons with premium bed linen. Easy checkin and very nice host.

KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone asub Hikone lossist 2,7 km ja Maibara jaamast 6 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on kuumaveeallikate vann ja tasuta eraparkla. Kohapeal on restoran, lift ja tasuta transporditeenus. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. We had some delay in reaching the accommodations, but they allowed us to have our dinner right as we entered, before checking in. They also helped us to call a taxi to the train station on our last day. My mother left an item behind, and they kindly mailed it over to my address in Tokyo after we left! Compliments to the chef, the food every breakfast and dinner were so delicious, and my family and I got to try many local delicacies in the comfort of the hotel :) My parents also enjoyed their very first experience of onsen here!

Honmachi Juku asub Hikone linnas, vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Hikone lossist ja 7,2 km kaugusel Maibara jaamast. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The staff went above & beyond to accommodate me. Can't rate this 180 year old property, that's been preserved & meticulously revamped into a delightful stay. 😀

Hikone linnas paiknev Kiyotaki Ryokan pakub Jaapani stiilis majutust, Jaapani koduseid toite ja tasuta WiFi-ühendust. Rahvuslik aare Hikone loss on 20-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. I absolutely loved my stay at Hikone and Kiyotaki ryokan. The room I stayed in was spacious and smelled of tatami, the bath was newly and renovated and comfortable, there was a small table in room along with a kettle and a teapot set perfect for a cup of tea in the morning. This was both one of my favorite stays in Japan so far as well as one of the cheaper ones. The owner of this ryokan is super friendly well. He gave me tips on what to see as well as a map of local cafes and restaurants and other tourist attractions which he himself helped make. Overall the stay was super friendly and I hope to come back in the future and even book the dinner this time.

Hotell Yuzanso asub JR Ogoto Onseni jaamast vaid 5-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. So romantic I wish we could have stayed forever!!! The en-suite private onsen is on the balcony of the room and also the shower so super shy people might have a problem. Everything was perfect tho, it is a precious memory from our trip.
