Il Biwako Hanakaido offre vasche termali coperte e all'aperto, 3 punti ristoro e camere con balcone e vista sul Lago Biwako. The location was good, both for private car and public transport (close to train station and it provided shuttle bus services). The staff who served us were warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and neat, slept on tatami and was able to see the lake. Onsen was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast, in Japanese dishes, were excellent. Highly recommended for families and couples who wanted a quiet stay.

The hotel was beautiful and I enjoyed the four different onsens in there. A few of the onsens (indoor) were a little on the older side, but the outdoor rock pool was spectacular. The facilities were really great. Dinner was really high quality food, although I felt a bit rushed. The breakfast buffet was spectacular.

The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Everything was great, amazing building, very comfortable facilities, room and futon. Staff was kind and friendly. Also in a great location and the meal was delicious!
