Please consider this ryokan as your stay. I would recommend a 2 night stay as you can explore the temple grounds and unwind. In other words; It’s been absolutely perfect. どうもありがとう。

Everything was so chic and modern in a traditional area. It’s this new wave of Japanese accommodation that is very impressive. It’s a little pricey, but absolutely worth every cent in my opinion.

Having been to Izumo before and knowing it would not disappoint, I decided to take my family for another vacation in January. We stayed at Nipponia Izumo - Hirata Cotton Road for three nights. It is a former traditional sake brewery house converted into a kominka style hotel. Situated on a quiet historical sake and soy sauce business street, the hotel not only provided a unique home sweet home service but also amazing fine dining experience. Their in-house chef made each meal using local products to create feasts that delighted the senses. I highly recommend this hidden gem of an accommodation if you do visit Izumo.

Secluded area, very quiet. Loved the outdoor onsen in my room, especially on cold days, the contrast is awesome. They had 2 private indoor solo onsens that were FCFS, and a large community shared one. Kaiseki meal was great. Wish there was more beef as it was awesome.

Exactly what we hoped for from our stay in Shimane. A welcoming inn in an interesting building in a great location. Friendly staff, exceptional food and a comfortable Japanese home.

Ubicato a Yasugi, a 27 km da Mizuki Shigeru Road, Ryokan Koyokan offre un giardino, camere senza allergeni e il WiFi gratuito. A truly beautiful place to stay. The food was beyond anything that we had hoped for. The owners were very lovely and helpful. You are so close to the amazing temple that you can explore it with no one else around

Posizionato a 1,2 km da Santuario di Taikodani Inari e 1,9 km da Tsuwano Joushi, Hoshi Ryokan mette a disposizione camere con aria condizionata e bagno in comune, a Tsuwano. This place is really nice ! Spacious room, clean, the host is very friendly and speaks English well ! And thanks again for the poster :-)

Posizionato a 24 km da Lago Shinji e 27 km da Museo Commemorativo Lafcadio Hearn, Saginoyusou prevede camere a Yasugi. My first 10 rating. Our room was fantastic, with a large sitting area, separate sleeping area with comfortable beds and private outdoor onsen. Staff were uniformly friendly, helpful and polite. Our meals were excellent and very filling. Each large window in our room looked out on different areas of an impeccably designed garden. We are already planning our next visit.

Little towns like this will often have old-skool ryokans and cheaper alternatives (minshuku, hostels) that aren't nearly as good. This place is the perfect, more reasonably-priced, alternative to the big ol' ryokans. Was expecting a minshuku-looking place but, no, from the very first impression this was a lovely, big, beautiful place with a cool vibe. The staff were very sweet, the bath was small but much nicer than you'd expect for the price and the room was very spacioius indeed. Breakfast was dead good and the older gentelman who played the shamisen and told us tales of the area was lovely. Would 100% stay here again.
