This was literally the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It was so tranquil and beyond relaxing. Every detail on the property was meticulously thought through, the service was impeccable and the food was AMAZING! I only wished we could have stayed longer.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Everything. From the big, traditional room with view to the river to the friendly staff and relaxing onsen. I had read the reviews that it could get noisy as some guests aren't as quiet. But it was perfect for me. Relaxing, simply perfect.

The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

Syukaen Yunohanazen se 4 hvězdičkami se nachází v destinaci Atami. Zhruba 1,2 km od ubytování se nachází Pláž Atami Sun Beach, 27 km daleko je Hakone-Yumoto Station a 29 km Chrám Shuzenji. Two different hot spring baths, nice spread of food served to room for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff but a bit weak on speaking English.

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- se nachází v destinaci Kawazu a poskytuje zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Really enjoyed staying at Ushiogumo: The facilities are brand-new and impeccable, amazing staff (!!), beautiful location that's close to scenic landscapes. The Kaiseki Ryori dinner was excellent, breakfast was great too! Each room has a private bath on the balcony. There's lots of amenities in the room. Plus, the hotel onsen is made available for private use from 6pm. It's a small property (I counted 7 rooms) and thus feels very cozy. The road in front of the hotel did not really bother us. The terrace windows are well-isolated to block out any noise and there's also the calming sound from the balcony onsen. Extra points for the super-friendly staff!!! ...who can also converse in English so it's no problem for foreign tourists.

Great Japanese style hotel. The garden, the lobby, the onsen and the room give the perfect modern Japanese feeling. Everything was perfectly clean. They provided everything one could forget or wish for.

素泊まり宿 瑞宝荘 se nachází v destinaci Atami a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Pláž Atami Sun Beach je 1 km daleko. Hotel je umístěn velmi blízko vlakového nádraží a pěšky asi 10 minut k pláži. Paní majitelka se snaží a je příjemná. Podává i menší snídani - kávu nebo čaj a croissant. Obchody, onseny a různé restaurace jsou v blízkosti. Pěkné místo na spojení pláže a procházek.

Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu se nachází v destinaci Izunokuni a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Chrám Shuzenji je 10 km daleko. The best of the best of the best hotels on this planet, service, food, location, and rooms, all of it is TOP tier, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants a quiet and cozy place to spend their vacation!
