Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Beautiful building, big comfortable room with river view and lots of closet space for suitcases. Loved the onsen and lounge area downstairs. Also nice that they had a very well equipped kitchen although we didn’t use it

33 km from Koibito Misaki Cape in Shimoda, 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and open-air bath. We will be back! WOW. This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

Syukaen Yunohanazen asub Atamis, 27 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast, 29 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist ja 43 km kaugusel Daruma mäest. There's a lot of food for everyone, even for kids. And the food is very delicious. Room is comfortable, shuttle is convenient.

The room was had a complete ryokan vibe. It has an amazing garden that connects the food facility and the main lobby. The staff was really helpful and friendly.

Our favourite of the four ryokan we had the pleasure of experiencing in Ryokan. What tipped it was the incredible staff, who went to every effort to make us feel welcome throughout, and managed to walk a perfect line between friendly and professional. We were particularly grateful to the one lady who took charge of both our meals directly; this personal touch - making sure you have the same point of contact throughout your stay - seems to be a feature of Ushiogumo, and was very much appreciated. The room and rotenburo overlooking the beach is beautiful, with ample amenities including a charming coffee stand in the adjoining powder room. Dinner was also excellent, with each course prepared and brought to us individually in our private dining area, as well as a sake tasting set that I thought was extremely generous in its proportions. In fact, I think maybe the most skillful aspect of the whole arrangement is that Ushiogumo does well to screen guests from one another, so that you have the impression that the whole ryokan is put on entirely for your benefit.

AWA Nishi-Izu asub 12 km kaugusel Daruma mäest ja 20 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist. Kohapeal on kuumaveeallikate vann ja tasuta eraparkla. Clean, spacious, modern decor, peaceful and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast was really good! Liked their farm to table concept with elements of fermatation. They also had a complimentaty free flow bar with an excellant variety of drinks. A good Ryokan to getaway from it all and recharge!
