Yuze Hotel has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kazuno, 38 km from Appi Kogen Ski Resort. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and luggage storage space. The ryokan provides a hot spring bath and a housekeeping service. This place! I cannot describe how amazing the room with private onsen is. Super spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view to the mountains. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (buffet style), enough vegetarian options. There's a free drink bar available for the afternoon/evening hours as well. I didn't use the public bath because they don't allow visible tattoo's though.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen.

Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. The rooms include a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find slippers and a hairdryer. We wanted to visit the so-called Demon Slayer castle hotel. It’s out of the way so we rented a car rather than take transit. The drive itself was four hours from Tokyo. From the parking lot staff, to front desk, housekeeping and everyone there… the staff were all amazingly kind and patient. Not everyone speaks English, but there are a few. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very ryokan style (tatami) and the onsen was super clean. We had Kaiseki dinner and it was quite the experience. Food was delicious at dinner and the buffet lunch was traditionally Japanese. The stand out for us was the AIZU yogurt and AIZU maple syrup made from local chestnut trees. If anyone at Ookawaso reads this, please accept our thank you. You were all wonderful and we hope to visit from Canada again someday. Thank you for your patience with my eight year old son and our horrible Japanese.

Every room at this ryokan is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. For your comfort, you will find slippers and free complimentary bath amenities. Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh features free WiFi throughout the property. The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.
