Everyone walks around in their Japanese pjs, no shoes allowed inside and the onsen is wonderful - especially the private one. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are also icecreams, beef skewers and ramen as treats! We loved our experience

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. A beautiful retreat from the big city. I loved the short 5 minute walk to the ocean or a gorgeous walk along the Itoo river. The walk to the hostel was really lovely. I'll never forget sitting in the viewing area in our room as it rained under the moonlight.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. We loved our stay at this onsen hotel !! There was an indoor and outdoor public bath and private outdoor baths and our own bath connected to the room which was beautiful with high ceilings. The food was excellent and the views were stunning! Highly recommended !! Also great for kids as the kids meals are so beautiful !!! We wish we could have stayed longer!

33 km from Koibito Misaki Cape in Shimoda, 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and open-air bath. Exceptional setting surrounded by forest. Simple and high quality design with attention to detail everywhere across the house: materials, lights, blinds, equipment both indoor and outdoor. Very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, quality toiletries, fantastic sauna, onsen, pool, phone chargers in every room etc. Relaxing place with Japanese flair. Fridge was prepared with soft drinks and beer.

Syukaen Yunohanazen asub Atamis, 27 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast, 29 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist ja 43 km kaugusel Daruma mäest. There's a lot of food for everyone, even for kids. And the food is very delicious. Room is comfortable, shuttle is convenient.

Hakuunsou asub Takayamas, Takayama jaamast vaid 48 km kaugusel. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade mägedele. WiFi-ühendus ja eraparkla kasutamine on tasuta. Kamikochi jääb 26 km kaugusele. Excellent. The private onsens, the surroundings, the rooms and the location, everything was just perfect.

Hiljuti renoveeritud neljatärnihotell Iroriyado Hidaya asub Takayamas, Takayama jaamast 1,6 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum ja privaatne parkla. The Iroriyado Hidaya was the last stop on our two-week vacation in Japan, and it was by far the best! The warm welcome (incl. tea and tailored recommendations for exploring Takayama), the fantastic breakfast (Hoba Miso!), the Irori & Kotatsu in our room and the private baths made our stay in beautiful Takayama perfect. And when there was no taxi available immediately after checkout, staff even drove us to the station. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
