The units are equipped with heating facilities. Comfortable and nice tatami room and public bath! Yukata and bedding provided were comfy. It would also appear they've taken previous feedback about noise into consideration, adding a soundproofing layer to the window and greatly reducing the noise (I'm very sensitive to noise and slept through it just fine). Location is great, well-connected to the popular areas, situated right next to a family mart and beautiful river walk. Friendly staffs, easy check-in and check-out processes, very relaxing.

Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu is situated a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Subway Station, near Nakamise-dori Street and Senso-ji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. This was my second time staying at the ryokan, I love it. Just like the first time, the staff was very attentive, polite, and helpful. The ryokan is very well located, close to Asakusa Temple, shopping streets, and the subway. Despite the busy streets, the ryokan is very quiet. The bathroom is quite modern, and the room maintains the traditional style while also being spacious.

Situated 200 metres from Choen-ji Temple, 寅ホテル 御徒町 TORA HOTEL Okachimachi in Tokyo features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. It is set 300 metres from Tokaku-ji Temple and offers a lift. The ryokan has family rooms. It was super lovely! The facility is good. The house is cute and clean. Everything was new and stylish! The bed was sooo comfortable as well! Highly recommend for a group of 6 people for a comfy stay. I would definitely return here again

We absolutely loved staying in this very authentic Japanese property! The place is small but everything is so beautifully arranged and organised that it felt much larger. My kids loved the bunk beds that are built into a cupboard in the wall - it was an adventure for them to sleep there! The fridge was stocked with authentic Japanese drinks and snacks which we enjoyed trying out. Everything was incredibly clean and well organised and the host was very attentive and welcoming. The location is also really good - just 10 minutes walk across the river to the Akasuka neighbourhood.
