The host was amazing and very friendly, the place was super clean with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was also very good. The owner also offered us a free ride to the Abu Simbel temple though it's just 15 mins walking distance.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wawat — it was truly the highlight of our entire trip in Egypt. The owner, Assem, was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and hospitality made us feel completely at home. Assem speaks excellent English, and communication with him was always smooth and easy, both before and during our stay. He was always available, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our visit as comfortable as possible. The guest house itself is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly — which was such a relief in the summer heat — and there was strong Wi-Fi and reliable hot water. Everything was well maintained. This was by far the best place we stayed during our time in Egyp. If you’re planning to visit Abu Simbel, I 100% recommend Wawat. Assem is the best host you could hope for, and staying here truly felt like being welcomed into a home, not just a hotel.

It’s close to the central city and not far away from the temple. It’s a relatively big house including three bedrooms. The decoration in the house is wonderful and full of local style. It also includes a very good breakfast. The house owner is very nice, he prepared everything for us. He will always try his best to help us.

Great apartment with nice views over the lake. Perfect location (downtown, only 15min walking distance from the temple) and very comfortable. The host Yassed is a wonderful person, he accompanied us to get food from the market and allowed to cook it in his family kitchen. Brekafast is delicious as well. Super recommended!

The room is clean which is what we most care about. enough hot water. there are 4 rooms including bathroom, bed room, kitch and rest space with two sofa. The rooms smell very good because there is humidifier with perfume. Before we come to the room, the host have turned the air conditioning on to provide the best experience all times.
