The property is very well presented with large bedroom & bathroom & terrace - the breakfast was served just outside our room. The swimming was excellent and well maintained and warm. The staff were very welcoming and worked hard to keep us all happy. The beach was a 5 min walk and is stunning - very natural and untouched. The wifi worked in the whole of the hotel.

This hotel is situated in a secluded area. There are no more hotels around and it's just a few minutes walk to the beach. The beach near this hotel is very beautiful and there's nobody there so you can feel like on an uninhabited island. The hotel and it's area is very pretty and clean. I stayed there for my first 2 nights and it was the best choice. Hotel just after the renovation, big and clean rooms. The hospitality of the owners is amazing. 5 min walk distance to the beach (no people only palm trees - like in paradise). You have to try food because it's a very good one. Good vibe of the place.

Very friendly and kind hosts. On my arrival, they picked me up from the train station though the room is in walking distance from the station. The room is spacious, new, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Walking distance from the main street with all the bustling city life nevertheless the room is very quite. Only a couple of minutes walking from the beach where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Gaindu proposed many places to visit but unfortunately due to lack of time I didn't. Ambalangoda ended up to be one of the best places I visited in Sri Lanka and Sudu Colonial was one of the best places I stayed. Until my next visit I would highly recommend it.
