This was an amazing place! The hosts were so kind, gave us loads of information and even took us on a small tour of some nearby islands. The food was amazing! Very generous portion sizes and they were able to cater to a vegetarian diet. It was cold in the lodge but we always had plenty of blankets, a heater, hot water and hot water bottles to keep us warm so it was never a problem. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

the breakfast was okay, freshly prepared by the owner of the property. not much option, but you will have coffee or tea with pancakes with fresh fruits. the room we stayed overlooks the city lights at night and it is very romantic. during the day, the room gets really hot, however, we get to do lake tours with the owner. for a very reasonable price. lunch/dinner can be provided by owner for a fee, we opt to eat at nearby restaurants. and the owner can speak english very well.

Amazing hosts! Ruben and Ana were very kind, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, showing us their community and their customs. The room was beautiful with a comfy bed, heating and a great view of the lake. We loved the outdoor area as well where we could relax in the sun and enjoy the tranquillity of the lake. Overall, we had a lovely time and would recommend Casa de Ana to anyone who wants an authentic and unique experience in Uros.

Great view of Lake to Titicaca, owner was very helpful. It is up about 3 flights of stairs which is ok unless you have mobility problems. An easy walk to the plaza and easy to catch a taxi to come back. The hills in Puno are very steep . The kitchen is filled with sunshine in the morning which we loved. We were there in early spring

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Inca Palace Experience in Puno, and it was an unforgettable experience. We booked a three-night stay and opted for the three-person apartment, even though we were just two people. The slight price difference was absolutely worth it for the extra space. The apartment featured a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room, separate from the sleeping area. The shower was excellent, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. What stood out the most was how quiet and tranquil the room was; we couldn’t hear any noise at all, which made for a very peaceful stay. One of the highlights of Inca Palace Experience is that it is not just a typical hotel chain. It is a family-run business by a wonderful mother and daughter duo who were incredibly nice, sweet, and helpful throughout our stay. Their genuine care and hospitality made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Inca Palace Experience to anyone visiting Puno. It offers a unique, personal touch that you won’t find in larger hotel chains. Also, is very cheap considering what you get and it is 3 minutes walking to Plaza del Armas.

One of the best places we have stayed so far in South America! Brilliant value for money - it was so nice to have a spacious apartment all to ourselves. The host was really welcoming and helpful, letting us leave our bags while we did a two day tour nearby and arranging for us to stay an extra night when we returned. She was keen to check that everything was ok (which it was) and I am sure would have dealt with any challenges if they arose. The location was great, very near to the main plaza. We were here during the Candelaria festival so it was great to be in the buzz (NB it was a bit loud when the marching bands passed by a couple of times, but I don’t think there is any way to avoid that during the festival and we quite enjoyed listening to it). The room was clean, the shower was warm, and the bed was comfortable!

The casa hotel was on a hill with a nice view of lake and town. Quiet location. Am employee saw me on the street and helped me take my luggage up the hill to hotel as I was suffering from altitude sickness. At check in, Addi made me some mata de coca tea. On my birthday, the owners presented me with a delicious chocolate from the best bakery in town. All this for about $15 a night. You can say that I was well treated. Thanks to Addi and Soledad— and all the staff.

Very special experience, off grid accommodation at a floating island. Nicanor was nice and welcoming, our and his kids played together, we could use the kitchen (we expected a barbecue that was advertised and actually wasn't there). The breakfast was rich and very tasty. The room was nice and comfortable. We also forgot a cap and Nicanor took it to the port the other day, thank you!
