Nam and her family are absolutely lovely. Nothing is too much. She was so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and so fresh, especially the juices. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We rented bikes and motorbikes. And Nam also helped us booking taxis and train tickets. The kids loved the pool. The location is ideal. A peaceful setting overlooking the lake yet a very short distance from the buzz of the town. The pictures Dont do it justice. We would happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

An exceptional home stay. Gracious hosts who went out of their way to make our stay special. Beautiful, spacious bungalow. Comfortable bed and generous size bathroom. Very quiet location, but a short walk to town. Bicycles for hire, which was great! They organised taxi’s for us, so made it easy to visit various sites. Delicious breakfasts and evening meals. Highly recommend!

From the moment my wife and I arrived until the time we (sadly) had to leave, Ha (the host) and her family looked after us better than any other hotel/homestay we have stayed in Vietnam. I have lived in Vietnam for 8 years and my wife is Vietnamese, so we have a fairly good idea about the country and its hospitality! ;o) If you're looking for somewhere to relax during your visit to the Trang An/Tam Coc area of Ninh Binh, then I would highly recommend setting up base at the Trang An Hana Homestay. At the time of our stay, it had been opened for only a couple of months, but it was still practically full each of the 3 night we stayed. That's a clue to how good this place is! Sleeping: The rooms are bright, airy, and exceptionally clean, with everything you would need for your stay, with the majority of them having a direct view onto the river. The WiFi is great, the beds are really comfy, and the showers are perfect. Eating: There's a range of delicious, homemade "A la Carte" options for breakfast, all made with ingredients bought fresh that morning at the local market. There's also freshly made fruit juices and tea or coffee. You can also have lunch and/or dinner here, and if you do, I recommend you have the mountain goat hotpot, it was exceptional. Drinking: There's a fully-stocked bar and the prices are very reasonable, with a range of chilled beers in the fridge. Relaxing: Trang An Hana Homestay lies directly on the riverbank with karst mountains all round you, and is super-peaceful. During the day, you can sit and chill watching people taking a boat trip up the river, and in the evening it's just a wonderfully relaxing place to unwind after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. There's also a small swimming pool on site, which will no doubt be great in the warmer months. So... if you're reading this review, and you're looking for somewhere to stay when you visit Ninh Binh, then it's here.

The location is just like a movie setm magical. We realize there is nothing different we couldnt experience in the boat tours that just staying in this propert. Surrounded by limestone, lake , Rice field, duck farm. You name it whats in nihn bihn and this location has it. The staff is very cute and supportive. They let us do early checkin. Took care of us. 10 on 10 for this place

This was an incredible stay in a rural hotel in the middle of Trang an natural environment. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and everithing went so smothly. The owner of the place left us a couple of bicicles to explore the area for free and it made even better our stay here. The place was super clean and the personnel was super attentive to offer us anything that we could need. Furthermore, from the room you can see the mountains and the lakes of trang an. We would recommend the place to anyone.
