Beautiful courtyard house in a quiet neighbourhood, but very close to restaurants and the south gate of the old town. Rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-stocked, and the breakfast is delicious! Jiuan and his family/team made us feel really at home.

This charming boutique inn was one of the most amazing hotel stays I've ever experienced in my life. For me, it hit all the right notes. It was comfortable, modern, invigorating, great location, the village was enchanting, the hosts were extremely kind, the food was exceptional, the setting is as good as it gets, the building and courtyard had character and history, there was fresh Yunnan tea in the rooms, the views were exceptional, it was quiet and calm, and on and on... Highly recommended, I think about this place every day since I left.

Great value for a 3 bedroom apartment and location was very convenient. There is a large supermarket and eating places just outside the apartment block. Apparently, there is also a shopping mall but we didn't have time to go. The apartment is quiet enough and airy. Comfortable. Host was very helpful, communicative and quick to fulfill additional requests. Highly recommend.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 giorni in questa splendida struttura autentica tibetana. La stanza era confortevole, pulita e calda ( in Inverno ). I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, ci hanno dato un caloroso benvenuto , tra l’altro c’hanno preso anche all’aeroporto e ci hanno aiutato anche a fare i biglietti dell’autobus. Se vuoi avere un’esperienza autentica Shangri-La Youran Valley Inn è la risposta giusta! Grazie ancora per averci ospitato.

Our room was very large and super clean and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the room and the view. We stayed one night only to get the train from South Kunming station. Therefore, the location was perfect for us - just 10 min. ride to the station. It is next to a shopping mall, so we had everything we needed (restaurants, shops, etc).
