They do not speak English but speaking German was not a necessity. The apartment is very large, very clean. It is within 45 min of Coberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth, and Wurzberg. If you want to immerse in German culture, this is the place to stay.

I truly loved the apartment with all its beautifully designed details -- the lights of the lamps were a big plus for me, they instantly made me feel calm and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, there were enough pillows (not just one like in so many other places), the heating worked perfectly, the tea selection was abundant and a super nice touch, it was super clean, the host was incredibly well-communicating and always available but not intrusive. The kitchenette was well equipped, the kettle was clean (again, I often can't use the kettle in places because they're gross), the shower was great. Loved the location as well, near the train station, the Danube, and the Old Town.
