La guest house si trova in un quartiere a due passi dal centro,raggiungibile con taxi prenotabili mediante "app in drive "suggerita dall' oste davvero conveniente. Circa 40 egp a tratta. Camera con bagno confortevole, pulizia top, possibilità di usare la piscina. Possibilità di fare colazione presso la struttura a prezzi vantaggiosi. Ho bevuto un cappuccino ottimo. Per chi vuole si può affittare anche bici. L'oste Mohamed, persona squisita, sempre disponibile, ci ha risolto molti problemi. È stato possibile prenotare la crociera da Aswan a Luxor tramite Heasman, persona di sua fiducia a un prezzo davvero conveniente. Consiglio vivamente questa location, ci tornerei volentieri.

La struttura è tenuta benissimo. La pulizia è uno dei punti di forza, una cosa molto rara da trovare in Egitto. Il proprietario è una persona davvero gentile e cordiale, sempre disposto a darti una mano. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza molto piacevole.

Bedouin Lodge Luxor offre la vista sulla montagna a Luxor e dispone di ristorante, cucina in comune, bar, giardino, piscina scoperta aperta tutto l'anno e terrazza. It was a really special experience staying here. It is essentially a farm stay in a traditionally decorated Bedouin village. Very green and peaceful. Surrounded by nature. The pool was really cold and fed by underground well water, which was amazing after a hot day out visiting all the sites. The food was ridiculously good, with a lot of the ingredients being freshly picked from the farm around us. This was one of my favorite places we stayed during our trip in Egypt. It is extremely close to all the West Bank historical sites and also close to the hot air balloon tours, but out of the way and not in the city.

I suggest to use their partner to the tours at Luxor, Karnak and the West Bank, our driver was very kind and helpful.

A 3 km da Colossi of Memnon, Tasneem Palace offre un giardino, un bar e alloggi climatizzati provvisti di balcone e WiFi gratuito. I’ve thought if I find a real nice place, I should stay longer instead of moving on, well this is that place. I had booked 5 nights but it was close to perfect so I stayed longer and probably should have stayed a month, it was that good. I can’t say enough good things about it. The owner offers top notch customer service and can be depended on for good, honest advice.

If you want to have the absolute best stay in Luxor, you have to stay at Momo’s Rose Villa. We are a family with two girls aged 15 and 19 and we stayed at the villa for 3 nights. The villa itself is really amazing. Not only does it have a lot of space, it is also equipped with everything you need. It is very clean and has a lovely feel to it to walk on barefoot, which I like a lot. It has a beautiful garden with so many flowers and a really nice pool, equipped with sunbeds and a nice lawn to play on or lie in the sun. Even a lovely seat to drink your coffee early in the morning. A little present for the girls: Momo has a really sweet cat (Mimi) which had three little kittens at the time we had our stay. My girls named the kittens Ramses (red one because he was the most playful), Isis (black one, because Isis is the goddess of magic), Cleo (from Cleopatra because she was the most beautiful). Momo is a really terrific host, so very, very kind with this fantastic positive vibe we really loved. You can reach him any time of the day and he helps you with everything you need. He absolutely makes sure that you lack nothing. He even wants to take you on his sailing boat for a small price to see the sunset from the Nile. (Unfortunately, we missed that one because a sandstorm was announced). Even though the temple of Luxor is on the other side of the Nile, you can get there by boat in 5 minutes, which Momo arranges for you or he takes you himself. Rose Villa is, without a doubt, the best place to stay in this area if you do want to see and feel the real life of the Egyptians but in the meanwhile stay in a clean and luxurious villa. We really, really loved it!!!
