The staff is so warm and friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious every morning! Every question we had was answered in a very supportive manner and help was offered straight away. On our next visit to Karimunjawa we will definitely go to the Loyal Friend Hostel again.

The house is very clean, and had everything we needed and even a very nice outside place with a view, perfect for having breakfast! We got a local breakfast which we enjoyed very much, and if you stay multiple days you will get different kind of breakfasts each day! Fajar showed us the village and its surroundings with the local vegetables and fruit plantages. Fajar also took us to Dieng to show us around, and even further to Nepal van Java and Borobudur and even dropped us off at our next stay in Yogya. We had so much fun having a local as Fajar with us, because this way we learned so much about Java and its religion, its culture, … He arranged that we could try out batik at the Borobudur temple complex for a good price, it was a very nice experience. We highly recommend this stay for everyone who is interested in experiencing this part of Java as a local!

The house is beautifully decorated with a clear eye for art and design and the surrounding garden and private beach are absolutely breathtaking. Stephane and his staff were wonderful, the food excellent, and the were attentive and helpful while you still had complete privacy.
