One of our absolute favorite and most memorable places during our Iceland trip. The accommodation was so homey and well designed and spacious. Perfect for our family and baby. The restaurant was delicious and adorable as well as the breakfast. The owners were kind and thoughtful and we learned so much about the history of the lodge. The surrounding area was stunning and I would recommend everyone to stay here during their stay along the ring road!!

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses si trova a Egilsstadir, a 5,8 km da Cascata Hengifoss e 45 km da Kirkjufoss. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Ubicato a Seyðisfjörður nella regione Islanda Orientale, l’alloggio Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school offre un patio e la vista sulla città. Excellent apartment. We only stayed only night but it is perfect for a much longer stay.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús offre la vista sul lago, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Egilsstadir, a 5,9 km da Cascata Hengifoss. This property was in a remote location but very near the Hengifoss waterfall which was our next stop. Beautiful valley views. Cozy small and comfortable apartment.

L’ arredamento e la posizione nel mezzo del nulla. Molto pulito e tutto nuovissimo. Letti comodi e il piano superiore della casa era davvero fantastico.

Skipalaekur Farm Apartments offre la vista sulla montagna, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Egilsstadir, a 32 km da Cascata Hengifoss. Very spacious apartment, great layout. Fully equipped kitchen, extra bedding. Would have loved to stay a few nights here.

Dúlluhús - Apartments by Aldan offre la vista sul mare, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Seyðisfjörður, a 3,7 km da Gufu Waterfall. This apartment was super clean and cozy. Kitchen was fully equipped. The bed was soft and comfortable. Overall, We felt like home staying there. Despite all that, my family and I cannot thank the host more for extending her help when our car went off road in the mountain. We are very grateful for her kindness. Thank you so much! Definitely two thumbs up for this apartment. Highly recommended!
