Even with strong winds and horizontal rain, the outlook was mesmerising, and when the sun came out, it was great to step outside for a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nikaho - a great base for exploring (with a car) attractions in Tsuruoka and Sakata as well as views and waterfalls around beautiful Mt Chokai.

She knows exactly when we’re awake and come to our room to set up fire for us during this cold weather. Will refer more friends to visit!

Prefect, even the location is little bit far away, but it is easy to assess AEON by a 5 minute walk, also a 15 minute walk to TOYZRUS and stadium. The interior is prefect, large living room and bedroom, very suitable for 2 guests to accommodate. The owner of the property is very nice too, he recommended to join the festival to see the Akita Lantern Festival

It's a beautiful house with fully equipped kitchen, blue tooth speaker, heater and a private onsen with mountain view. Free parking just outside the house. Super nice host who prepared special hot pot Kiritanpo Nabe which is super delicious with homemade grilled rice. Love the special dip for the crackers too. Were provided BBQ grill, charcoal for our BBQ. They also helped us buy Waygu beef from their regular supplier. We went to Wonder Mall at Kakunodate to buy BBQ stuff. Beef is cheap with great marbling. Host were very prompt in responding to all our queries. Highly recommended to stay here if you are in Akita.

The room is great, very large, tastefully and innovatively furnished. The shower is great, as is the kitchen. The quality of the towels is excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets are of a high standard. The room is very well-appointed and beautiful.

This house has everything you need and it is clean, spacious and so cozy! The landscape around it is also superb. We spent 5 wonderful days there and will do it again.

The room was nice and bed was comfy. House is big and clean. Host is very welcoming. Washing machine and dryer are very easy to use. Need to bring your own towels. We forgot. They also have goats and chickens, kids loved it!
