In total I Stayed 6 weeks with Emi and Soku and I had an amazing stay. (One month and later I came back for 2 weeks) The rooms are big enough, it's possible to slide your suitcase under the bed and there are hooks to hang stuff. They are basically ready for any situation. Bigger groups and single guests. And if you are lucky you might end up alone in a clean room, in a comfy normal single or double bed for the price of a dorm! There is a clean kitchen area with 2 stoves, rice cooker, microwave and a small oven and enough pans, plates ect, to make nice dinners. All the rooms are provided with airconditioning and heater if needed. Next to that you are able to rent bicyles, surkskates and surfboards. Also Soku provides skate and surflessons. And the best are Emi en Soku themselves, they are so helpful alsways try to think from the perspective of the guests. In one word, like I said before, just amazing. If you are in this area I would definitly suggest to stay at this place. The location is a bit remote. Busses and trains just ride at certain times. It just needs some planning to get here. Also you can just contact Emi and Soku if you need some help with that. Supermarkets are a bit far. The closest konbini is 10 minutes by bike. But again Emi and Soku can give you a ride to the Supermarket sometimes and with planning your food a bit it's not a problem at all So it's not all around the corner, but instead you get a nice quiet experience in Aoshima, one of Japan's paradises.

My stand alone cabin was spacious, with futon upstairs and kitchenette, bathroom, dining space downstairs. There was a small incident re damage to my rental car by another guest which required police involvement for insurance purposes. I was very thankful that the manager noticed what was happening and came and assisted. He very kindly spoke to the rental agency and the police on my behalf. Which I found very relieving because the language barrier can be really challenging especially in stressful situations. Thank you very much!

Check in and check out was done on a table. Super quick and easy. Pre- checkin Instructions were clear and easy to understand. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The villa complex features certain units with river views, and each unit is equipped with a kettle. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Very novel experience overall. Container was retrofitted with very modern facilities, with enough space for two to stay comfortably. Amenities were also provided, including cutlery, crockery, and equipment to make drip coffee. Best part of the stay was the outdoor area with bbq pit and sauna. The staff were very kind in helping us to start the fire ahead of time so that we could start barbecuing once we got back with the ingredients.

Miyazaki Phoenix Zoo is 15 km from the apartment, while Cape Iruka is 21 km from the property. Miyazaki Airport is 2 km away. It was clean and neat. It lived up to expectations and perfect for three guests.

Best place I've stayed with so far in Japan. Super high end & large room/apt and facilities, private, luxurious, highly attentive crew whenever needed and hardly seen otherwise. Walking distance from the beach. Could not wish for more.
