滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado ligt in Kurashiki, op 8,6 km van Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park en 10 km van Tanematsuyama Park, en biedt kamers met gratis WiFi. This was a beautiful room, very attractive design, spacious and in a perfect area for touring Kurashiki. It is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. Check in was easy. Good communication with hosts, and restaurant recommendations, which was helpful. It’s not a hotel per se, and so no meals included but they provided a basket of fruit and baked goods daily and coffee, so that was perfect for breakfast. It was all we needed. The seating area has a good view over the canal so you could not be better situated.

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

This traditional Japanese home was very comfortable. There are lots of airconditioning units so it was comfortable even when cold outside. The host was so very kind and generous. We were lucky to meet him in person. There is a coffee shop nearby that opens at 6am and many convenience stores as well as a supermarket in walking distance. We had a vehicle and the host arranged parking for us.

自去来 heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een patio en een waterkoker, op 2,4 km van Daitsu-ji Temple. This was the loveliest property we stayed at in Japan. Very spacious, fantastically equipped, beautiful traditional decor, reasonable price. The location is maybe a little out of the way for public transport but great if travelling by car. The town itself is traditional and full of character and the surrounding countryside is lovely. We hope to go back for a longer stay one day.
