It's like a whole resort in one building. We booked this last minute and were surprised how much we loved it. Apartment is very big with plenty of space and a nice view of city at night. Beds were comfy, clean with good air con & fans. The TV area was good and finally a comfy couch for a movie night. There were even pods to wash our clothes that dried easily in the heat overnight. Everything you could need in the kitchen too. The floor that has the pool etc is amazing. 1 large but quieter pool in the shade by the gym but the opposite side as a second infinity pool that's very beautiful with a view of the sea. There is a coffee, smoothie and snack vending as well as a little takeaway vending machine for noodles and dumplings etc. You could stay here all day without needing to leave. We did pop in the roof to look at the views and have a peak. Was absolutely deserted and peaceful. We can't really comment on the lifts. We travelled during Ramadan which is apparently a super quiet time for travel. Lifts were fine for us but no idea about the rest of the year. (I only have a picture of one of the second bedroom. My sister stayed in the master en suite which was bigger and a bit nicer than my picture)

The beds were soooo comfortable, and they were real beds not bunk beds, the roof was very high, and the sleeping room was clean, for the showers the water was hot,and they were cleaned regularily, and the socialising room looked like a phenomenal pinterest room for me, it has a variety of beautiful collected stuff, woody furniture everywhere, and beautiful peranakan tiles and design, booklets about penang and a collection of books, and a piano, a working one. I enjoyed staying in the socialising room, to the point that I started thinking that I should buy a house similar to that and settle there, The owner was so kind and helpful, and he came regularly to clean the house, and the location of the hostel was perfect close to anything you may ever need. I just loved this house, it felt like a real warm home, not a mere hostel, and I met lots of sweet girls there, what a wonderful experience! I wish there were more only females hostels like this one in every city.

It is very convenient to take Grab to Gurney Drive to eat seafood and night market food at night. There are cafes and convenience stores downstairs.

Host Chiang was courteous, punctual, and gave clear instructions to make our check-in a breeze. He was patient and prompt in replying to our queries and even gave us valuable local recommendations in terms of food and places to explore. The apartment exceeded our expectations with floor to ceiling windows on a high floor with an amazing view. The living room and bedrooms were large, clean, comfy and had all amenities provided. Property facilities include a gym and an infinity pool on the 29th floor with a jaw dropping view overlooking the Penang bridge to peninsular Malaysia. Location was great too with a short drive to Fisherman Wharf foodcourt/ waterfront park and Gurney Plaza/Paragon/park, for affordable meals and scenic walks/runs in recreation parks next to the sea.
