Everything about it was wonderful. Ana was responsive on our messages and even let us drop off our bags in the reception earlier in the day so that we didn't need to drag them around. The room is beautifully done and modern. The shower was the best we've had - I didn't want to get out. The mini fridge was on and cool when we arrived with a tray of ice cubes - well appreciated for the wine we bought from the alcohol store less than 100 meters away.

This property is as beautiful as the host and even more beautiful in real life. I felt right at home instantly, so much so that I’ve already booked my next stay. The room is as stunning as the view and every detail from the pillows and Egyptian cotton linen to the toiletries, all gently scented to blend with nature the host has carefully selected to spoil her guests. Steeped in family tradition, even the name has a beautiful story behind it that the host shared with me over a delicious white from the her vineyard beside a cosy fireplace, I felt transported in time, I’m definitely coming back for the harvest. And I almost forgot to mention, at night the adjacent homes across the water turn into little glistening stars mirroring the skies above, I found calm my body much needed. We just didn't want to leave. Place is super cool. Right in the heart of everything, access to all you need. Room was beautiful, facilities were excellent, the bathroom and toiletries were 5 star. (Ok maybe 4 star for the shampoo but there's shampoo nonetheless!!) Gigantones was such a find and if you're going to explore Viana - it's the perfect, quiet, pristine place ever. Nuno was the perfect host, so helpful and really personable . 5 stars all round !
