This place has a lovely decor, comfortable beds, wonderful gardens, super cute dogs and kids. We were able to visit Tsitsikamma park, some hikings, grilled some braai, all with extra comfort. This place, the small city, the park, everything was perfect. Wish we can come back one day.

A close grocery store was handy for little needs. Excellent location close to many hikes and the national park.

We stayed at this property for one night, the last stop on our Garden Route trip. Jan and Antoinette gave us a warm welcome. We found ourselves in a lovely place with colorful apartments inspired by the vibrant Boo Kap houses. Our room was very tidy and clean, and the apartment was called Protea. Everything we needed was provided, and the kitchenware was new and complete. The place had a wonderful garden and braai area. There was even a lovely fire pit and seating around it in the braai area. Jan and Antoinette saw us off as warmly as they welcomed us. We hope to stay here again. Thank you, Jan and Antoinette!

One of the most special features was the little private beach and tranquil fountain oasis, the perfect setting for sundowners Every detail came together seamlessly to create a stay that felt both luxurious and effortless. Truly, everything about this place was perfect—we could not have asked for more. Highly recommend. We'll be back 😉

We loved our 2 nights at The Blue House and wish we had stayed longer. Japie and Annette are wonderful hosts and they have created a beautiful guest suite on their property. They are happy to offer suggestions of places to eat and nearby activities. The suite was spotless, the bed extra comfortable and the kitchenette was better equipped than many Airbnb apartments we have rented. The location is peaceful and we loved the views over the back garden and mountains behind the property. The pictures are accurate and I can't say enough good things about The Blue House.
