Kitchen59 has been one of our favourite stays. The hotel staff is very attentive and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the design of the hotel and the care of every detail, and we really appreciated the commitment to sustainability of the organisation and the collaboration project with the nearby cooking school. Highly recommended also the rooftop bar where you can have lovely cocktails while enjoying great views of the city. We will certainly be back!

Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms. The beds are very comfortable. Great to have a kettle in the rooms. The courtyard is also nice with pallet benches. The location is walking distance from bus station, plenty of ATMs, Cafe 1920 great for brunch and walking distance to many sights in Sofia e.g. ancient Rome ruins of Serdika. This is the best quality hostel I have stayed in for a long time and best on this trip! It is more of a hotel than hostel as no communal kitchens, etc so consider it comfortable for couples and older travellers. Secure entrance and easy check-in.

Very convenient for walking into city centre. Clean and tidy with good heating, air-con and shower room. The garage round the corner was especially useful to keep the hire car in. Julian was excellent, informative and friendly with his communication (by Watsapp- we never met) and was very helpful with any questions. There is a Billa supermarket at the end of the street for anything needed.
