We were both truly surprised by the professionalism and passion with which this small hotel is run. The area around Lago 'dOrta is beautifully green and the lake is clear. The hostel itself and the village of Ameno surrounding it could not be more Italian if Coppola directed the whole set. Nice other guests, quiet surrounding and a small jazz concert in the local park made the stay enjoyable. But the best were Giuditta and her daughters who were friendly and very helpful, thank you.

A very stylish house and also the room is very unique. We loved the view over the lake and it is only a 10min walk down to the city/lake, so you can leave you car at the house. 2 friendly dogs and a beautiful big cat live in the garden. You can cook and prepare your breakfast, everything you need is there. Fabio is a great host!

The hotel is right by the lake and has a beautiful view. We ended up staying in 2 different rooms because we stayed an extra night. We had a triple room and a lake view room. They were both really lovely and very reasonably priced for the location. The staff were really helpful moving our luggage from one room to the other. I can absolutely recommend the hotel. It doesn’t have parking, but there is plenty of parking nearby. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was again very reasonably priced.
