Good location, close to everything, you can walk to small river and have a relaxed time. Zugspitze and Eibsee are close and easy to visit (beautiful places!) We had room for 3 with balcony, very nice room, two armchairs made it more comfortable. Great breakfast, warm eggs are offered, a lot of fruits, tees etc. We received guest card of the region, that allows free use of public transport and discount on some attractions.

Das Tegernsee offers rooms within the Art Nouveau-style Sengerschloß castle and in its neighbouring buildings. All rooms include a modern bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryer. the hotel lies in a hill overseeing the lake with hiking trails going in and out to the mountains from it. The Spa was great as well as the dining experience in their restaurant. We visited for our honeymoon and the staff left a very special detail in our room which was very much appreciated.
