The owners are people who genuinely care for their guests; everything is well-maintained, and everything works seamlessly, from the sauna to the heating, the fireplace, the furnishings, and all other amenities. For the beauty of the surroundings and the magic of the forest, I thank the creator, and for the well-being, care, and the warm welcome of the cabin, I thank the owners. We had a great time and were even fortunate enough to witness a stunning aurora!

Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

We arrived after check in but everything was arranged so we could let ourselves in. The location is perfect, so peaceful but within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and x-country/hiking trails, with the bus to the ski slopes just outside. The incredible breakfast was a great way to start the day and the sauna a great way to finish! Staff were so friendly and gave us great advice for places to visit. And you're close enough to the lake to dash over when the aurora makes an appearance!

Perfect location, close to center of Äkäslompolo with supermarket, restaurants and safari companies. Very comfortable and well equiped. We enjoyed sauna and chimney fire. Any question was answered immediately without delay.
