The owner is really kind and offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, which made getting to the guesthouse much easier. There were food and drinks in the fridge when I arrived which was a great touch! It is a lovely location in the countryside and there is plenty of nature to explore. There are a few resturants, coffee shops and convience stores in the area which walking/biking distance. Would highly recommend!

What really made our stay special were the owners. The couple is incredibly kind and helpful. They communicate fluently using a translation machine into English (or another language of your choice), which worked perfectly! The house was very clean, and their enthusiasm for Mount Fuji is contagious. The location is excellent: close to a huge supermarket with both Western and local products. Truly a fantastic supermarket! Also within walking distance are an Alfamart, bike rental, and the lake. On our last evening, we wanted to have a BBQ in the front yard, and the owners arranged it for us. They even joined us for a while, and we had a great time laughing and enjoying each other's company. The owner has a great sense of humor and we felt right at home. These people have hearts of gold and the location is fantastic! Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. We wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately, it was fully booked.

I had an amazing stay! The property is very clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect — very close to the lake with a beautiful view of mount Fuji. The staff were incredibly friendly and truly helpful, always ready to assist with anything and making sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. Overall, a great place that I would definitely recommend and stay at again!

My stomach did not feel very well for two days before caming there, but the dinner tasted great and I felt much better next day. Rooms are clean, with great bath and especially, giving you a vibe of a real western style house in countryside! The host couple were so kind and guided me to have roasted marshmellow, this was my first time doing this! On the second day, they also helped me about my one-day trip plan in Kiyosato.

The location is unbeatable. Just a few steps from the Kawaguchiko station, with mount Fuji view from your window. You have everything you need in your room to have a cozy stay and you're conveniently close to the station, konbinis and restaurants. The host answered fast and was so nice with every question we had. We could do the checkout earlier than the stablished hour and also had the option to leave the luggage before checking in, which was also a major advantage.

We arrived completely drenched from rain and the owner offered to dry our things and was taking care of our shoes and everything the whole time and he speaks great English. I was a little worried at first about the amount of space available based off the photos but it was perfectly fine and comfortable for 2 people. I also really love the "storage container" aesthetic - thought it was very cool. The space inside was also clean. I would definitely book again if I come back to this area in Japan.

The breakfast although I selected the Western style option it was more a Japanese breakfast than western and therefore my kids didn't enjoy much. It was delicious, but not much western style.
