Het door een familie beheerde Hjelle Hotel ligt in de schilderachtige omgeving van de Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord. Het bevindt zich in een weelderige tuin en wordt omgeven door bergen. The room was big enough to accommodate a couple, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Water pressure was good. The food was nice. Quite a nice open buffet type of dinner and breakfast. The hotel offers you a packed lunch for a certain price and you can fill your bottle for coffee (for a certain price). The staff was very friendly. Always smiling and willing to help you all the time. The hotel location is quite good as well. There are nice places you can visit by foot. The hotel staff gives you a booklet you should check after you settle in your room. There are suggestions of places where you should visit including the routes and nice places to visit.

Vollsnes Feriehus ligt in Hjelle, aan het meer Strynevatnet. Alle accommodaties hebben een volledig uitgeruste keuken en gratis WiFi. Sommige kamers bieden uitzicht op het meer. Absolutely amazing location. The view, living quarters and staff was amazing. The house we stayed in was very newly renovated and modern. About a 30 minute drive to the closest city (with more stores and whatnot.) Camping places along the roads, aswell as sauna locations not too far from the house.

The cabins are very comfortable for a family with kids. We had enough place for 5 persons. The view is amazing, the location ist wow. We had nice walks and exhausting ones, to get a more nicer view as before. Our hosts Marit and Bjørn were so friendly, funny, lovely and helpful. We enjoyed the stay so much. Wish to come back soon.

Trollstova beschikt over uitzicht op de stad, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op 13 km van Kaupanger Stave Church. We definitely love the place and would recommend anyone to book Trollstova. Location is good and easy to find, space is big, very warm for autumn/ winter. Bathroom water pressure is amazing with heated flooring. We feel very at home and comfortable.

We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.

Sigurd's Tiny House is gelegen in Vossevangen. Deze vakantiewoning heeft een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Deze vakantiewoning met uitzicht op de tuin heeft 1 slaapkamer en 1 badkamer met een douche. Het was een prachtig huisje, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Op loopafstand van centrum Voss en de daarbij behorende winkels, bakker en supermarkten Kon echt niet beter. Aanrader!!!
