Very friendly host, very easygoing. Diner was delicious, and there was an extensive breakfast buffet. The hotel works with a honesty bar with a large choice of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), which I found very comfortable. Rooms were clean, comfortable bed. Sauna area was also very nice.

Alpengasthof Pichler has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Sankt Veit in Defereggen. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Although this was a B&B it was very good and had restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was good.

The breakfast was typical with a large selection of cheeses, hams, jams, fruits,... But the real attraction was the dinner. I have not yet eaten such good food for such a low price. The room had a lovely smell of a freshly cut wood. The staff in general was very friendly and useful and made us feel very welcome. The location is great for exploration of the Defereggental.
