The staff from the reception through to the restaurant and bar were all exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive providing a genuine sense of being warmly welcomed as a guest, rather than a customer. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, food was excellent. Surrounded by tall trees and expansive grounds to wander, birds everywhere (including some fabulous and very friendly peacocks).

This property is a Georgian Country House Hotel. Guests can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, stroll through 12 acres of gardens, and relax by the main leisure pool.

The room was lovely, the colours helped to give a relaxed, cosy feel. The spa was small but nice and clean. Breakfast was nice, lots of choice. The attention to detail throughout was breath-taking. The grounds were well kept and the staff were amazing,

I stayed in room 11 , had to get away for a night , it was lovely and the two young staff on sunday morning were so sweet give them a pay rise xx

I did not eat or partake in any of the excellent activities on offer at Champneys. I really enjoyed the setting of the hotel. Peaceful and serene. Outstanding for just wandering around the grounds. The room was comfy and the toilet was of good size.
