Amazing stay in Ortesei close to the city center. The room had a balcony that overlooked at the river and the town. Everyone in the hotel was so nice and friendly and helped us with planning our day to make the most of our stay. Dinner was amazing, specially the Salmon Trout! :) If you like family hotels that are cozy and make you feel at home, this is your place to stay.

We stayed at Artnatur Dolomites Hotel & Spa in late spring, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is officially 4-star, but the service feels every bit like 5-star – the staff are truly outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The location is breathtaking, nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, making it perfect for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. The food was another highlight – beautifully presented and delicious at every meal. The wellness area is well designed, and the saunas are a real treat, especially after a long hike. However, the pools were a bit too cold for comfort. Unless you're visiting on a hot and sunny day, swimming isn’t quite as relaxing as it could be – which is a bit of a shame in such a serene setting. Still, the overall experience more than made up for it. We would happily return, especially for the exceptional hospitality and unforgettable surroundings.

It’s set a the end of the valley surrounded by magnificent peaks. It’s modern, yet traditional. The spa is very beautiful, especially the outdoor pool and sauna. There are plenty of rooms also for the children to play, independently of their age.

Surprisingly during check-in I was offered a drink and a room upgrade. I took the suggestion to dine at the hotel and we were delighted with the menu and the food. The view from the hotel at 1500 meters high is stupendous. I am grateful to all the staff especially the Brunner family for the fantastic hospitality and homemade jam.

Absolutely everything! It was perfect from start to finish and the most friendly and welcoming owners and staff that make everything so special with lots of little touches to make it extra special!! The food is incredible and there is no need to spend a penny when you are there as everything you could possibly need is included. Of course you can add treatments and speciality drinks but this is not necessary and we loved trying the local spritz. Could not recommend this hotel more and would not hesitate to book if you are planning a trip to the area!

Beautifully finished apartment. You can smell the pine from the wood finish as you walk in. We had a view onto mountain and the garden from our balcony. Kitchen well equipped. Gorgeous lighting and shower. Comfy bed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location excellent at the start of route 1. Also close to cable car. If I can afford it I’d come to stay at the Waldrast again. First class accommodation for a special treat!

The facilities at the property were fantastic, the spa area was very relaxing and the breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed staying in the location, we had the benefit of a car to move around and explore the Val Gardena region which helped.

Amazing location , great views from balcony & a beautiful room. Swimming pool, 3 or so different saunas, an outside hot tub to look at the Dolomite night sky & stars … what more could you wish for 🙂 breakfast had lots of choice & was delicious .. I didn’t have dinner but the menu looked amazing. A wonderful Place to stay

Clean and spacious room with balcony. Very kind stuff. Nice breakfast. Beautiful pool with brilliant view, nice sauna as well. Free parking. Skibus stop right next to hotel. Recommend
