Irene puts so much love and attention into every detail, and you can feel it the moment you arrive. Everything is beautifully clean, thoughtfully arranged, and full of charm. The location is perfect—just 20 minutes by train from Florence, with frequent connections—so it’s both peaceful and convenient. I absolutely loved spending time with Irene, Bambi, and the sweet cats. The warm, communal breakfast with the other guests added to the cozy, homey feeling. The view from every window is breathtaking, overlooking the rolling Tuscan countryside. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Beautiful setting in the Tuscan countryside with stunning views. The property can be a little hard to find and carrying bags takes some effort, but it’s worth it once you arrive. Louis at reception was exceptional and very helpful (jumped in a car to show us our room when we couldn’t find it), and the restaurant staff provided excellent service. If management of the hotel are reading this, a special call out for two gentlemen waiters at Cantina de Redi on the night of the 23rd of September. They were excellent and helped the kitchen accommodate our picky little eater :). Overall, a memorable stay.

Renovated from an old convent, Borgo Sant'Ippolito Country Hotel is a charming and romantic 4-star hotel, immersed in the Tuscan countryside, just 18 km from Florence.

This was the last stop of our trip with a toddler and what stood out most: the staff was amazing and so sweet. We had an early arrival which was no problem, could choose the room that we liked most and the way they spoke to our child was so nice. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Also good transport options to Florence centre.

We loved everything about the hotel. The staff really took a good care of us well. Once we got back really tired and they offered us free apperitivo which included prosecco and some delicious snacks. The location is perfect. highly recommended this place. Will definitely come back here in our next visit.

The customer service was exceptional. The staff are very helpful and go far and beyond to help guests. The best part was they allowed us to leave our bags after checkout while we explored.
