We loved our stay here - the staff were so friendly, checking in and able to provide recommendations as needed, but without being in your face (they found a perfect balance). Pool villa was great, and we were in easy walking of wonderful restaurants and massages etc. highly recommend.

The villa was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The pool was beautiful and a good size for a swim. The on-site restaurant was excellent and very reasonable. The location was perfect - close to a few local restaurants and a couple of small stores. All the staff were very helpful, friendly, always smiling and made us feel part of a big family.

The most exceptional hotel we have been to in Thailand. Amazing surroundings, is in fact Paradise. The staff, the team, the tree houses are amazing.. Food and drinks are top notch. This is more than just your average villa booking- they pick you up and drive you to the villa free of charge where there's welcome drinks waiting for you, and you can order your breakfast for the next day from an extensive menu. They also offer to cook you dinner and have many options for traditional Thai dishes. We enjoy cooking so we opted to cook our own meals instead-the kitchen is fully stock with everything you need, including juicers & blender etc. The villa is huge and looks exactly as the pictures. The view from the villa is amazing, and the infinity pool is lovely. Villa Lydia can also assist you with organizing tours, book ferry tickets or arrange an in-house massage in the villa's Bamboo Spa ! Overall, we just loved our stay in Villa Lydia and would be back again in the future.

Everything. The staff. They were exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, helpful and so kind. The food was varied and delicious. The Spa and the massages were so relaxing and a welcome addition to our stay. The location, the rooms the beach. I cannot express how amazing the resort is and how fantastic our stay was. I can't wait to come back.

The entire place was impressive, very well organised and I found gorgeous. The room was spacious, the dathroom very interesting and practical. The breakfast had many options of both Western and Asian food. We enjoyed the few activities included (bonfire drinks, trip to nearby island, kayak, yoga). The spa area was very beautiful and relaxing. All in all it was a great experience that I would definetly recommend!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Secluded in complete peace on the hillside of the island. You are surrounded by jungle and birds yet still close to the main road, restaurants and beach. An oasis with lovely pool, views, wellness spaces and breakfast. But most importantly the staff (especially the general manager sasha, nan and jiang) who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during all our stay.

The beach amongst palm trees is a gem - even in light of the tides around here. When not in the sea, the pool is super clean and provides a great alternative. The restaurant lets one have the feet in the sand while enjoying the food with a view, which creates instant relaxation. We did not share the many negative reviews about the food quality but appreciated the modern and clean breakfast/ restaurant area along with wonderfully friendly service. They also have an impressive massage operation with a very nice atmosphere and vibe.

What can I say other than amazing !!! Best 3 nights stay ever, so wish we stayed longer such a beautiful hotel on a beautiful island! They have thought of everything and more for such a relaxing pleasant stay! Especially loved the glass of fizz with breakfast on a Sunday morning and the Thai back and shoulder massage was devine! The staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful and attentive couldn’t fault anything at all, worth every penny! We will defo be back 1 day in the future and for longer next time!! If you’re thinking about it do it !!
